This time last year our former football playing apprentice Nick Holman was heading into finals with SANFL club Central Districts, gearing up for a chance at the Magary Medal and contemplating entering the rookie draft for another shot at AFL. He was able to get picked up at #19 and we waved goodbye in November.
Since then Nick has excelled playing with the GC Suns. Named in the side every week averaging 13 disposals per game, he has kicked all 14 of his AFL career goal racked up a total of 119 tackles so far this year with. More stats here. Nick’s played all over the country and even internationally. Our electrical company is glad to see him doing so well and being able to watch him in our lounge rooms each week.
While Nick was with us he worked on many large scale projects with some of our major clients such as Ezy-fit Hydraulics, Chevron Glass and Veolia Environmental Services Sites. Although he has recently signed back on with the GC for 2019, our automation team hope if he ever gets tired of being an AFL star that he will return to his place here at TA Electrical and help us out with our workload.
