HEAVYMECH – SA
From 2011 to present we have been continually working with our client Heavymech and Safework SA to design and apply safety systems to many of their machines which are dated from 1940 and do not meet current safety standards. These machines include several vertical and horizontal borers that are very unique because of their age, size and sophistication which has required TA Electrical to use much innovative methods to upgrade. These included the use of a variable speed drive in one case to meet the stringent guidelines set by Safework SA. We have also completely redesigned and rewired a 100 tonne press which needed to incorporate several hydraulic solenoids and two hand controls to comply with AS4024.3002.
